The Morrissey Men's Group meets on the second Friday of each month.
One month the men stay in at the centre, where they can tend to the vegetable garden, the produce is shared out among the group and utilised in the Morrissey Kitchen. They can also work on a group woodwork project. Working together as a team, each man offers their unique and varied level of skills and abilities to produce a well-made end product. The projects are designed and tailored specifically to the individual needs of the Men's Group clients.
Our cook serves a delicious, hardy, three course lunch, which is welcomed by all on the day.
The alternate month we are out-and-about visiting places of interest, from working Dairies, farm machinery museums, interesting "Blokes Sheds", old forestry sites and much, much, more, ending up at a local pub for lunch.
Morrissey Men's Group is designed for men who need additional support or provision of resources to continue to fulfil their hobbies in a fellowship environment.
