In April 2002 Morrissey expanded service provision to Eaton, Australind, Binningup and Brunswick Junction with a Day Respite Centre called Leschenault, located at Leschenault Leisure Centre operating one day per week.
The Centre commenced with six clients and has continued to grow. The location proved to be too small and inappropriate and so the "Happy HACC'ers" relocated to the Eaton Scout Campsite, and operated three days per week.
Funding was received from Lotterywest, Home and Community Care, Worsley Alumina and Cristal Global. The Shire of Harvey donated 2,000 sqm of land for the building of Leschenault Day Respite Centre. Mrs. Jennifer Pyper designed the front 'water wise' garden and was assisted with planting and ground work by the Australind Lions Club, staff and volunteers. The Official Opening was conducted by the Governor of Western Australia, Dr Ken Michael on Friday 29th March 2009.
